There’s very few couples in the world that can say their Vail wedding fell on a day that happens once every seven years or so…a day where a perfect snow fall happens in the midst of the Rocky Mountains peak week of Aspen trees bursting into their fall colors. I know you’re thinking I must have popped those yellow and greens in photoshop, but I’m here to say I actually didn’t. The leaves were actually that bright and bold. I know! Unreal! I can think of only one word for this wedding and that’s “epic.” Gina and Brandon you made me feel like family. I wasn’t just your servant picture snapper, I was your honored guest. When I think of you and this weekend, I’m filled with warm fuzzies, the kind that make me smile and wish it wasn’t over. You two are such troopers and I couldn’t of had a more amazing couple for this day…so willing to do and try and drive anywhere! Your unique love, fun spirit, and creative nature, matched such a beautifully rare day. Big gigantic hug!
- If you ever stay in Vail, you should absolutely stay at the Sonnenalp. With traveling as much as I do, I see a whole lot of hotels, and the Sonnenalp is actually my #1 favorite. I would choose their beds over my own, and nothing can describe sitting in front of your personal room fireplace, sipping wine, and watching the snow fall outside after a long day of shooting.
